great thread...here's one of my favorites...
working with client and offering cut-throat rate to give him a break since he didn't have a lot of $$$ to spend on the site. follow all directives carefully, everything looks good, everybody's happy.
a week later, i get this email while on vacation, and it goes something like this:
client: all the stuff you've done is trash, but you've given me no choice, i'll have to use it, but it's crap and i'm very disappointed.
when you get a chance, would you make the following changes to the site: (half-page list follows).
me: never replied to the email. went back to the beach thinking how happy i was to kiss off *that* $250...
