All of this occured after "final" approval and completion of the website:
I like the swoosh header but to be honest I thought from our conversation
on Friday, you were going to incorporate more design and color throughout
the site. I think the site still looks very, very plain. The swoosh header helps a little but not much. I REALLY would like to see more design elements and different colors used throughout. Is this possible? Maybe the titles and
subtitles on each page could have some sort of design - or the left nav bar
can have some color or something going on. Let me know if there is something
holding you back from adding more design to the site. I thought my direction
was "go for it". It is critical I send this out for internal review by
Wednesday morning and I feel we still have quite a way to go. Please tell me
it will be ready by Wednesday morning.
-- Tuesday afternoon. Made the swoosh blue to add some sort of color and "design".
Remove blue from swoosh and the - ***** felt that since the swoosh is a
part of our logo design, she doesn't want to mess with it (I personally like
it). And for consistency, remove the blue from the footer as well.

The nav bar...when the orb goes over a section - can that box turn to
blue? So we are taking away the blue at the swish but adding it to the bar.

The rollover on the nav bar on the homepage is fine with the color that it is - we didn't think the blue would work there. Let me know what you think.

Don't kill us but we were thinking now that the nav is blue - and we
think that looks great - we think the main titles on each page should be
blue as well - we think it would tie to the blue better and add a bit of
another element. What do you guys think?
