This one wasn't a client, but I certainly felt the rage:
Recently I got roped into attending a meeting, the purpose of which was apparently for our middle-tier developer to bicker with our database manager over the same single issue for forty-five minutes. After sitting there for a while saying nothing, I excused myself, pleading that my time would better be spent coding the twenty or so pages due by the end of tomorrow. The middle-tier developer nodded his assent and said "go make things look pretty."
