I was on the train coming home from work, working on some dhtml on my laptop... the guy next to me was watching for a while, and eventually he got curious enough to ask me what I was doing...
me: well, I am working on a website that has a dynamic menu, and pulls all the content from a database...
him: really... it looks almost like your working in DOS...
me: well right now different browsers interpret html differently, and inorder to make a complex website work on all computers I have to create certain workarounds.... "it's really pretty difficult..."
him: Well don't thay have a program that does that?
me: No... they have "me" to do that...
