how about this one. it deals with print, but same idea. i designed this cover for a proposal. the project manager (an engineer) swore up and down that the colors were too bright. i HAD to tone them down. by the way, we're talking mostly nature shots here, a lot of earth tones and sky blue. anyway, i took the opacity of each image in the file down to 25%.
